Yeah, I know I've been pretty inactive as of late. I actually failed to notice that my Premium Membership had run out. Anyway, sorry I haven't been posting here. If you want to see what I've been working on, please check out my Tumblr the-fanfictionist. There I post new Attack On Titan and Free! Iwatobi Swim Club fanfictions pretty often. Don't worry though, I'll still be here replying to comments and returning llamas, but there won't be as much content. Thank you for sticking around!

Thank You

5 min read

Well, since there are many things I am thankful for, I decided to stuff it all into this one journal so you don't have to read and reread the same shit more than once. You're welcome.

First off, thank you for the wonderful birthday wishes! Thanks for the Llamas and comments and whatever else you sent me! I had a great birthday and enjoyed a lot of that time with my family.

Secondly, thank you for the most amazing three years of being a part of this dA family. I say this in the most genuine way possible. I can't begin to express my gratitude when it comes to this site and all the wonderful people who are a part of it. You guys have supported me through all 1095 (and counting) days I've been here. Since the very beginning, you've been there, whether it was giving me a Llama or donating some points or leaving a comment or adding one of my works to your favorites...It's made me a better person and artist (or writer). Yeah, this got really emotional really fast, but I just hope you know I'm thankful for all this.

So...

Thank you.

Back To School!

4 min read

So yeah, it's back to school for me! Well, tomorrow anyway. I think it's weird that it starts seventeen days before my birthday, but whatever. I'm sorry if I'll be a little in active, but school comes before fanfictions (which is a questionable theory, but I'll leave it at that). It sucks because my sleeping schedule is all messed up and I'll probably end up staying awake till five just to wake up at six. Anyway, for whom ever is also starting school around this time, I wish us all luck and hope this is an amazing year for us!

This journal is all about a book/movie. Feel free to ignore if you wish.

So, as Summer Break is coming to a close, I decided to read The Joy Luck Club by Amy Tan. The book was great! A real must read if I do say so myself. Being Chinese, I kinda understood more and read between the lines a little growing up with Filipino-Chinese parents. They always told me about traditions and superstitions that were believed in. They were very...Um, fascinating to say the very least and I'm glad some of them appeared in the book. Also the fact they spoke in different Chinese dialects was cool. But, it was extremely interesting and I understand why so many have recommended it to me in the past.

And then I watched the movie.

I-I don't even know.

I cried many Asian tears. Elderly people crying is like my weakness. The moment I witness that...I just cry. Usually, I'm not a fan of books being remade into movies, but I'll make an exception. It was actually pretty amazing. I recommend everyone watch it because it's a real tear jerker, especially if you're like me.

Anyway, Amy Tan is amazing and this book and movie was awesome.

Ten out of ten will watch/read again!

I'm Back!

5 min read

That was fun! Canada was very pretty and the food was amazing. But, what I don't understand is where this whole 'Canadians are the nicest people in the world' business started from because that wasn't the case when I was there. Sure, many people there were just fine but I watched a guy hit a man off his bike with his car which was pretty startling. Yeah, that wasn't the only  thing I witnessed but whatever. But, I still think Canadians are great people. I just happened to notice the odd things suppose. My trip to Canada was enjoyable so yay!

Nevertheless, I'm glad to be back home in Washington on my computer because I'm a loser.
